If your notes are missing after an update or after uninstalling the app, learn how you can get them back.

Missing notes after an update

If your notes are missing after an update, it’s because you were signed out of your MyScript account. Just sign back in, and your content will reappear in MyScript Notes.

If you still can't see your notes in MyScript Notes after signing back in, please contact the MyScript support team.

Do not uninstall, reinstall, or reset the app as this will permanently delete all your content stored on the device.

Missing notes after uninstalling the app

If your notes have disappeared after uninstalling the app, and you had sync activated within the app, don’t worry — your notes can usually be restored. All synced content is securely stored in your connected cloud service (iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox) and will reappear once you reinstall MyScript Notes and sign in with the same MyScript account.

If you still can't see your notes in MyScript Notes after signing back in, please contact the MyScript support team.

MyScript cannot access your notes and does not store copies of them on our servers. To protect your data, we recommend regularly backing up your MyScript Notes’ content.
