Searching your notes

Easily find what you need in your notes with the search feature. Search from a folder or a specific note, and MyScript Notes will scan your entire library. Use it to find text in your notebooks, documents, boards, or imported PDFs, whether it’s handwritten, typed, or converted.

Search content from a folder

You can search for content directly while you are in a folder view.

  1. Tap in the top bar.
  2. Type your keyword(s) in the search bar and validate. The search starts in your current folder and then extends to your entire library.
  3. Tap in the top-left corner to open the side panel and view all results across your library. You can also rotate your device to landscape mode to display the full list of results.
  4. Close the search bar to remove the highlighted results.

  3. Swipe right with your finger to open the side panel and view results across your library. You can also rotate your device to landscape mode to display the full search view and results.

Search content from a note

If you’re in the middle of writing a note and need to search for content simultaneously, here’s how you can do it:

  1. Tap the Search icon in the navigation bar.
  2. Type your keyword(s) in the search bar. Your search results are highlighted in blue in your note.
  3. Use the up and down arrows below the search bar to navigate between results.
