Drawing precise shapes and lines
Updated 8 days ago
MyScript Math can turn your hand-drawn shapes into clean geometric figures, and gives you a ruler for perfectly straight lines.
Obtain perfect shapes
To convert hand-drawn shapes into perfect shapes:
- Draw a shape in a single stroke.
- Hold your pen on the screen to convert it.
It also works for lines and arrows.
Edit shapes
To select your shape, either use the lasso or tap it with your finger. The following options are then displayed:
- — Copy your shape and paste it anywhere else.
- — Cut your shape and move it somewhere else.
- — Drag the corners of the shape to adjust the size.
Draw straight lines with the ruler iOS
You can use the ruler to draw perfectly straight lines at any angle.
- Tap the tool in the toolbar to display the ruler in your math note.
- Drag the ruler to reposition it.
- Rotate it to set the desired angle.
- Draw along the edge of the ruler to create a straight line.
The ruler snaps into position, making it easier to align lines precisely.
Tap the tool again to hide the ruler.
