Nebo becomes MyScript Notes — lifetime access guaranteed

Converting your equations in no time

Updated 8 days ago

MyScript Math turns handwritten math into LaTeX code instantly, so you can copy it straight into another document.

What is Quick LaTeX? iOS

Quick LaTeX is a dedicated workspace for converting handwriting into LaTeX. Write a mathematical expression or any text by hand, and see a live typeset preview as you go. When you’re happy with it, copy the LaTeX code to your clipboard.

Use Quick LaTeX

MyScript Math has two tabs at the top of the screen: My notes, where you create and manage your saved math notes, and Quick LaTeX.

  1. Tap Quick LaTeX to open the conversion workspace.
  2. Write your expression on the canvas.

As you write, MyScript Math recognizes your handwriting and updates a live typeset preview at the bottom of the screen.

Your handwriting and preview stay on screen even if you switch to My notes, leave Quick LaTeX, or close the app. They’re only cleared when you tap Clear all or manually erase your strokes.

Copy your equations

Once your expression is recognized, tap Copy as LaTeX to copy the generated code to your clipboard.

Copy as LaTeX is only available once MyScript Math has recognized valid content — it stays grayed out until then.

If you’d rather share how your expression looks than its LaTeX code, tap Copy as image. This copies a picture of the typeset preview to your clipboard — no LaTeX included.
