Now that Nebo is installed on your device, let’s take a moment to dive into its interface and get to know its features. Take your time to explore and get comfortable with the intuitive design!
Home screen and navigation
When you open Nebo, the home screen presents your notes in a structured view, making it easy to access and manage your content. The key elements of the interface include:
- Notes side panel—Access all your notes, folders, and collections from the left-hand sidebar.
- Folder view—Displays your notes within folders for an organized structure.
- Top navigation bar—Includes options for creating, sorting, and searching notes, along with direct access to the Study space.
Working within a note
Each note type in Nebo—notebooks, documents, boards, and PDFs—has a tailored interface to optimize content creation and management.
Top navigation bar options
The top navigation bar provides quick access to several key features to make your tasks easier when working within a note:
- Note title—Quickly rename your note with a tap.
- Back—Return to the folder view.
- Undo/Redo—Easily correct mistakes or revert changes.
- Add—Add new objects.
- Search—Use the search option to quickly locate your content.
- More—Access additional settings.
Toolbar options
The toolbar appears below the top navigation bar when opening a note. It provides essential tools for writing, editing, and formatting. For specific tools, you can access extra options by tapping a second time on it:
- Keyboard—Switch to typing mode.
- Pen—Write or draw with your active pen (tap for brush, pressure sensitivity and thickness).
- Highlighter—Highlight key text or sections with a light color (tap for highlighter type and thickness).
- Eraser—Remove unwanted strokes or characters (tap for eraser type and thickness).
- Lasso—Select, move, and edit content (tap for freehand or rectangle lasso).
- Colors—Pick from a wide range of colors (tap to edit, duplicate or delete).
