Managing the user dictionary

The user dictionary in Nebo helps improve handwriting recognition by letting you add your own words. This helps ensure unique terms, names, or technical words are recognized correctly.

Add words to the user dictionary

Adding custom words ensures they are recognized and displayed correctly. You can add these words within your note or in the settings.

Add a word within your note

Press and hold a converted word, choose Learn "x" from the menu, and it will be added. This is an easy way to save new or unique terms for future use.

Add a word via the settings

You can also add words directly through the settings.

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Tap the ... button, then choose Settings.
3. Tap Dictionary to open it.
4. Tap + New word.
5. Enter the word you want to add.
6. Tap Enter to confirm.

Remove words from the user dictionary

Removing words helps maintain an up-to-date and relevant dictionary.

Delete one word at a time

1. Open the Dictionary menu.
2. Swipe left on the word you want to remove.
3. Tap Delete.

Delete multiple words at once

1. Open the Dictionary menu.
2. Tap Select in the top-right corner.
3. Select the words you want to remove.
4. Tap Delete at the bottom-right, then Delete again to confirm.
