Your MyScript account

Nebo is developed by MyScript. You can use Nebo without a MyScript account, but signing up is required to access features like backup, cloud sync, Nebo AI, and beta programs.

Create a MyScript account

Follow these steps to create a MyScript account:

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Tap the ... button in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Settings, then choose Account.
4. Tap Create an account.
5. Choose one of the following options:
   • Sign in with your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account.
   • Enter your email and password (at least 6 characters minimum, 4 different characters).
6. Confirm you agree with the legal notice and privacy policy.
7. Tap Sign up.

You’ll get an email from MyScript called "Activate your account." Choose Activate to verify your email.

Sign in to your MyScript account

Signing in is required to access features such as backup, cloud sync, Nebo AI, and beta programs.

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Tap the ... button in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Settings, then choose Account.
4. Enter your login credentials and sign in.

Edit your MyScript account

You may need to update the e-mail address or password you first provided, delete your account or opt-out from a mailing list. For all these actions, go to https://sso.myscript.com and sign in.

• Tap Communication to choose the types of emails you agree to receive.
• Visit Security to update your email, change your password, or delete your account.

About your account

Here are a few key points about your MyScript account:

• It isn't designed for cloud storage or as backup solution.
• It isn't a web-based version of Nebo and won't upload your pages to a webpage.
• It is separate from your Apple ID, Google ID, or Microsoft ID. App purchases are tied to your Store ID (Apple, Google, or Microsoft), and not to your MyScript account.
• It doesn’t synchronize your notes. Check the related article for how to sync notes.
