Getting started with Nebo

Nebo is a powerful note-taking app designed to let you write, type and organize your thoughts. Create organized notes, brainstorm on a limitless canvas, or annotate PDFs, all in one easy-to-use tool. Built around a pen-first experience, Nebo makes digital handwriting feel as natural as writing on paper. It supports active pens for precise input and offers advanced handwriting recognition, letting you seamlessly edit, format, and convert your notes. With features like pen gestures, lasso selection, and instant text conversion, your notes stay editable, interactive, and searchable.

Install Nebo on your device

Installing Nebo is quick and easy: just download it from the official app stores and start taking notes your way.

Some devices come with Nebo pre-installed as part of their software package. If Nebo is already installed on your device, simply launch it and follow the on-screen setup to get started.

Launching Nebo for the first time

When you launch Nebo for the first time, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding process designed to help you get started. This includes setting your preferred language, exploring key features, and learning basic navigation tips to make the most of the app. This ensures you’re ready to create and organize notes effortlessly.

Privacy & analytics

We take your privacy seriously and are fully GDPR-compliant. All analytics data is completely anonymized and is only used to identify bugs and improve app features. This ensures that your personal information remains private and secure while allowing us to create the best possible experience for all users. You can access the Privacy policy directly from the Settings menu within the app. This policy outlines how your data is managed, ensuring transparency regarding data collection, usage, and protection.

Purchase & restore

Nebo offers a free trial, giving you the chance to explore its powerful note-taking tools and key features. The free version is an excellent way to get started, but upgrading takes your experience to the next level. With the full version, you’ll unlock unlimited notebooks, cloud sync, advanced AI features, and more.

Create your MyScript account

A MyScript account unlocks additional features in Nebo, enhancing your note-taking experience. While you can use Nebo without an account, signing up gives you access to backup, cloud sync, Nebo AI, and beta programs.
