Folders and collections in Nebo

Nebo helps you stay organized by using notes, folders, and collections to easily create, group, and manage your content efficiently. Use notes to capture ideas, folders to sort your projects, and collections to bring everything together in an organized way.

Using folders to structure and sort your notes

Notes can be organized into folders, making it easier to organize and locate them.

Create a folder

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner, and choose New folder.
3. Enter a name, choose a color for the icon, and select the related collection.

Edit a folder

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Long press your folder name, and tap Edit.

Remove a folder

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Long press your folder name, and tap Delete.

Move folders across collections

1. Open the Notes panel.
2. Long press your folder name, then drag it to the target collection.
3. Release to drop the folder.

Folders are sorted alphabetically, and cannot be reordered.

Using collections to group and manage your folders

Collections group folders together for better organization and hierarchy within your notes. They act as a top-level category to keep related folders.

Create a collection

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner.
3. Tap New collection and give it a name.

Rename a collection

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Long press your collection name, then select Rename.

Remove a collection

1. Open the Notes side panel.
2. Long press your collection name, then select Delete.
