Converting your handwritten text and shapes

Nebo converts your handwriting into neat, digital formats. From text and shapes to diagrams and equations, it helps you create clean, professional notes with ease.

Use the conversion preview

Before converting your text, you can see in the conversion preview above your line how Nebo interpreted your handwriting.

1. Tap a word in the preview to see suggestions.
2. Choose the correct word from the list.

If the correct word isn't listed, type it with the keyboard or edit your text with your pen. For uncommon terms, add them to your user dictionary to ensure they're recognized next time.

Convert your content within notebooks, boards and PDFs

In notebooks, boards, and PDFs, you need to label your content type—like text, math, or diagram—to make conversion easier. This helps the tool apply the right formatting, improving accuracy and reducing the need for edits.

1. Select your handwritten content with the lasso.
2. Tap Convert...
3. Choose how you want to convert the item from the available options.

Convert your content within documents

There are two methods for converting your content in documents:

• Double tap your handwritten content to convert it.
• Tap your paragraph or object with your finger, and choose Convert from the menu.

You can even double tap your converted text again to display it in a smaller font size.

Convert your entire note

1. Open your document.
2. Tap the ... button in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Convert all to convert everything.
